About me
As a therapist I help individuals talk about their feelings, think about their choices and help them to achieve positive changes in their lives through the counselling process.
I like to make counselling simple for you and make counselling work for you.
I work in Guisborough on a Monday, Tuesday. Leeds on Wednesday,Thursday. Fridays are open
In Leeds I work from my apartment which is next to the canal near Leeds Dock. There is free parking in my space right outside the apartment.
In Guisborough I work from a room in the bow street centre also with free parking.

SESSIONS
Everything that happens in the therapy room is shaped by experience and research. You leave the session with a new perspective and feel empowered to take control of your life. I won't give you a 'quick fix' but support you in getting to the bottom of your problem & making your own meaningful decisions. I provide a genuine, quality service and build great relationships that clients ‘one step at a time’ recommend to their family and friends. Sessions will allow you to explore, feel grounded, positive and give you a platform to reach your full potential. For you to be able to feel confident to turn to me at any time.
BOOKINGS
I give you full control over your bookings. You can choose the frequency of your therapy sessions. One-off sessions are also okay! Whether you prefer face-to-face therapy, online video therapy, or practical sessions in real-life situations, the choice is yours.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

EXPERIENCE
I’ve been working as a counsellor since 2016 dealing with a variety of issues and also for the NHS on a spinal ward. I also deliver sessions on wellbeing for large corporations, community groups, local councils and many more.
