About me

Change doesn’t always have to take time – sometimes, all a person need is one focused, productive conversation to gain clarity, make decisions, and leave with practical tools they can implement in their daily lives. One conversation may be all you need to make meaningful progress.

If you’re looking for clarity and direction, I’m here to help you find your path forward.

As an integrative counsellor with a deep commitment to understanding and supporting individuals, I specialize in helping clients navigate their challenges through a combination of therapeutic approaches tailored to their unique needs. I bring expertise in Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy, all integrated into a flexible, client-centred approach that allows for meaningful interventions.

I understand that each individual is unique and that a one-size-fits-all approach is not always effective. That’s why I draw on a variety of therapeutic models to meet the specific emotional and psychological needs of my clients. Whether you are seeking support around trauma, life transitions, stress, or relationship challenges, I tailor each session to provide the tools and insights that will help you make meaningful progress, often in just one session.

Person-Centred Therapy: I create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely, empowering you to discover your inner resources and potential for growth.
Transactional Analysis (TA): I use TA to help you understand the dynamics of your internal dialogues and relationships, empowering you to make healthier choices and improve communication patterns.
Gestalt Therapy: I help you become more aware of your present feelings, behaviours, and thoughts, encouraging you to gain insight into your current challenges through creative and experiential techniques.
Trauma-Focused Therapy: With a trauma-informed lens, I provide a safe, compassionate environment for those who have experienced trauma, helping you process and heal from past experiences that may be affecting your present life.

My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration. By understanding your unique experience, I work with you to identify and address your concerns, offer practical coping strategies, and help you gain clarity on the best path forward. I believe that even in a single session, meaningful and lasting change is possible.

I am equipped to help with a wide range of issues, including:

Anxiety
Depression
ADHD
Low self-esteem
Addiction of all kinds
Codependency
Trauma
Religious concerns
LGBTQ+ related issues
Life transitions and adjustments

Key aspects of my approach include:
Personalised Care: Every person is different, so I ensure our work is uniquely suited to you. I take the time to listen and understand your situation, adjusting my methods to align with your individual needs.
Empathy and Compassion: I offer a warm, understanding space where you can feel heard and supported. No matter what you're going through, I am here to walk with you on your journey to healing.
Holistic Healing: Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or life transitions, I address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. This holistic approach ensures that all aspects of your well-being are nurtured.
Flexibility and Choice: I offer both online and telephone counselling for those who prefer to connect remotely. If you're interested in a more active approach, I also offer walk-and-talk therapy, which allows us to explore your feelings while being in the calming presence of nature.
Collaboration: I believe that the therapeutic process is a partnership. Together, we will work toward your goals, whether that’s gaining more insight, developing coping skills, or simply processing what you’re experiencing.

Session Length & Frequency:
I understand that everyone’s journey is different, so I offer long-term, short-term, or even one-off sessions, depending on your needs and the situation you're facing. Whether you need ongoing support or just a one-time session to gain clarity, we will tailor the approach to what’s right for you.

Together, we will work toward:

• Gaining clarity and understanding of your struggles.
• Building coping strategies and resilience
• Navigating transitions and major life changes.
• Restoring self-esteem and confidence
• Healing from past trauma and experiences

If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing, I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can discuss your needs and how I can support you. I offer both weekly and fortnightly sessions to accommodate your schedule and preferences.

Remember, you are not alone. Let’s work together to help you find peace, strength, and clarity on your path.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
