I am a qualified integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist based in Farnham. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I work within their Ethical Framework for good practice. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non judgemental environment.
How can counselling help?
Counselling can help people in many ways, and with various issues some examples include: Depression, low self esteem, anxiety, stress, anger, relationship problems, issues relating to being a parent, issues relating to childhood, work problems, spirituality, personal loss and bereavement.
How I work
I provide a safe confidential environment, where issues and problems can be explored. I believe we all have the potential to develop and become more true to ourselves. Counselling can help you to access inner resources, develop new perspectives and insight on the challenges you are facing. Counselling can also provide scope for personal acceptance and change, and help to build on coping strategies and to gain a better sense of control in your life.
The experience of counselling is unique for each person so it is not easy to describe in specific terms. I offer an initial assessment free of charge. This is an opportunity for you to find out if you would like to work with me, and for me to consider if I can help you. During this session you can get a feel for what counselling sessions will be like, and we can discuss confidentiality and the commitment to work together.
I work with adults on a short term or long term basis.

Theoretical Approach
The theoretical approach I use is the Clarkson relational model, which integrates three key schools of counselling psychotherapy theory: Psychodynamic Humanistic and Transpersonal.
