Jeanette Al-Hariri MBACP (Accred) Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Supervisor
077 222 15364
I offer a friendly, confidential and professional counselling and psychotherapy service for adults and young people aged 16 and up. I also offer clinical supervision.
With over 10 years of experience I can help you to overcome challenging and difficult issues including anxiety, low self-esteem, panic disorder and relationship issues. Thoughts can trigger powerful emotions which can leave us feeling powerless and isolated, and perhaps no longer trusting in ourselves and our abilities.
I use a Person-Centred approach, but have also studied CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Gestalt Therapy and Mindfulness, therefore, the counselling that we embark upon will be tailored to your needs and which we can review together.
Please feel free to contact me either by telephone, email or text. If I cannot take your call then please leave a message and I will endeavour to respond to you within 24 hours. I am happy to have an informal chat about your counselling needs and I also offer the initial session/assessment free of charge. I very much look forward to hearing from you.

My area of special interest is in Bereavement and Loss. I have written and run workshops on bereavement and suicide risk and have counselled since 2007 for Cruse Bereavement Care.

Many people think of the grieving process as something experienced only after a loved one has died. However, we also grieve for a multitude of reasons such as the end of a relationship, loss of good health, loss of employment, loss of a child leaving home, to name but a few... Whenever something meaningful is taken away from us we grieve. This grieving process can lead us to feel highly anxious, confused, where perhaps we have lost touch with our real self. Loss of self can feel very scary and isolating.
I have worked extensively in the area of bereavement and loss and I can help you to make sense of what you are experiencing and where new insights and possibilities can emerge in a world that is ever changing.
I charge £40 for a 50 minute session but I am happy to discuss concessions at the initial free assessment.
