Janet Ferguson BACP Registered
I am a Person-Centred Counsellor who will provide you with a confidential and non judgemental space to talk through what is causing you difficulty in your life. You may feel you need help with anxiety, depression, loss, relationship problems or another issue. This might be something that has affected you recently or for quite some time.
I will listen with understanding as you share what you are going through and help you look at what you are experiencing. It might be that you are struggling with certain behaviours, thoughts and emotions that are effecting your life. As we work together you will be able to make sense of what is happening to you and begin to understand more about yourself and why you behave and react as you do. This will enable you to change the way you think and feel; deciding how you want to move forward in your life.
I know that finding a counsellor you feel comfortable with is important; therefore I offer an initial, no obligation, first session at a reduced cost so we can meet; this will give you the opportunity to decide if I am the right counsellor for you. You can contact me either on 07397 955661 or email@example.com If you would prefer me to contact you send me a text or email with the best time to call.
I look forward to hearing from you. Your inquiries will be dealt with confidentially. If I am not available please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

• £20 for an initial 50 minute session
• £35 for 50 minute subsequent sessions
• £25 for student counsellors (29% discount)
• Fees payable at the end of each session
Sessions are usually on a weekly basis, however this is flexible.
Sessions are in a discreet upstairs room at the Riverside building shown above.
"Janet provided such an encouraging non-judgemental, welcoming and open space for me to explore my life and my mind. I always left her counselling sessions feeling as though a weight had been lifted off my shoulders after we had identified and discussed issues that I have."
