I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist, providing long term and short term counselling at my practice in Wokingham.
Our first steps for help are often the hardest but counselling can help with difficulties and emotional stress caused by loss, relationship breakdown, work worries and painful life events. Talking with a counsellor can help you to understand how past experiences, and worry about the future or lack of confidence may be affecting your life today. A professional counsellor can help you to reflect on how you are responding to your life events, and help you to explore how you relate more effectively to others and yourself. Counselling provides a unique professional relationship to explore your thoughts and feelings, aiming to help you make your own choices and bring about change.
In addition to my private practice I have worked for many years as Head of Counselling at a local counselling centre that provides private affordable counselling, and also works on behalf of NHS Talking Therapies, and is a network member of Wpf Therapy in London.
For many years I have been providing counselling for Employees under there company Employment Assistance Programs.
I provide counselling for individuals and couples as well as supervision to students and experienced therapists.
