About me

Is life challenging for you, and not as satisfying as you would like it to be? Do you struggle with romantic relationships, family relationships, relationships in general and you don't understand why?  Or do you recognise that you are dealing with issues from your past that may be affecting your current life and you would want to explore?

I work with relationships issues, childhood issues, low moods, anxiety, self esteem, confidence and through that; working on strategies to solve and manage these issues so you can find happiness. Emotions like anxiety, stress, worry, lack of confidence, low self esteem, low mood, grief and many more can have a negative impact on your daily life, your mental and physical health.

In the privacy of your own home or somewhere else, where you feel safe to talk online, I would  hope that through working together, we will be able to communicate and find the right coping strategies to better manage what is going on for you. I will help you exploring these challenges, and we will work together to identify the roadblocks that are preventing you from reaching your goals.

I am a fully qualified person centred therapist with many years experience. I use an integrative approach using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques and a motivational approach. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I offer short term or long term therapy and work with individuals and couples. Alongside my private practice, I work within the NHS and counsel staff who mainly bring work related issues but also personal issues.

I see myself as a genuine, understanding, empathetic, approachable and non-judgemental person. I would hope these qualities would help build a rapport between yourself and myself. I regularly attend training courses, workshops to learn new skills to maintain a high standard in my counselling.

I am French native meaning that I understand how difficult it is to adapt and build a life in another country, learning to live in a different culture and speak a different language. I am aware of the anxieties and loneliness which can often be experienced in moving to a foreign country.

I offer a free 20 minutes no obligation consultation via  Zoom,  or WhatsApp to see if we can work together.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
