Are you going round in circles? Would you like to be more productive and motivated? Would someone to listen help you through your day? Taking just 5 to 10 minutes each morning or evening to plan your day can make you dramatically more productive, and help to keep you focused on the most important things. Planning can save you hours in lost productivity each day and will ultimately help you reach your goals faster.
I am an experienced CBT and child and adolescent trained counsellor, accredited professional registrant with the National Counselling Society and a Registered Member of BACP. I am also a qualified life coach. I specialise in children's issues which can ultimately lead to difficult behaviour. I work with adults, children and adolescents, couples, groups and families and can offer you a confidential service in a private, comfortable and safe environment to enable you to explore issues causing difficulty and concern and ultimately give you the space to make changes in your life. I use mindfulness-based CBT, relaxation and hypnotherapy with NLP in my practice and as every client is individual, an initial assessment is encouraged before therapy starts.
My practice is situated within very easy reach of the A1, M1 and M18 and there is a very frequent bus service a few minutes walk away.
I work with adults of all ages including issues of:
- abuse - emotional, physical, sexual and verbal
- anxiety and depression
- behaviour problems
- bereavement, grief and loss
- chronic and terminal illness
- confidence issues
- couples/relationship/marital difficulties
- domestic violence
- eating disorders
- financial difficulties
- goal setting
- low self esteem
- self harm
- sexual harassment and assault
- work related problems
I work with children from the age of five with a range of issues and post-16 students in schools.
I am fully DBS checked for both adults and children and I am also BUPA recognised and certified.
I can offer daytime and evening appointments for both counselling and supervision and I am happy to visit you in your own home. I also offer an individual service for these on the telephone if it is more convenient for you.
