At some time in our lives, many of us experience anxiety, relationship issues, or depression. Whatever the nature of your current difficulties, I offer a safe and confidential space in which you can talk openly and without fear of judgement.
Starting therapy can seem daunting, so an initial session will give you an idea of what it will be like. We can then discuss together how best to proceed.
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist providing weekly and twice weekly psychotherapy and counselling for individual adult clients. I work from a psychodynamic perspective based on the principle that difficulties in the present may be related to experiences in earlier life. Understanding the origins of these can relieve stress and anxiety, and open up the possibility of change.
I work from a comfortable consulting room less than five minutes walk from Victoria Station (accessible from Victoria Square). My practice is within easy reach of Westminster, Pimlico, Belgravia and Chelsea.
To set up an initial meeting please phone or email me, and I will respond as soon as possible. All enquiries are confidential and you do not need a GP referral to make an appointment.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained as a psychodynamic psychotherapist at WPF Therapy, one of the UK's leading and most respected training institutions which is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I am a member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy), BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council) and FPC (Foundation for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and am bound by the strict ethical and professional codes of those bodies.
I have worked both as a therapist and assessor of new clients at WPF Therapy as well as in private practice.
I recently completed a WPF Therapy Post Qualification Certificate in Working with the Couple in Mind (please note that I am an individual not a couple therapist).
