Are there things in your life which are causing you to feel unhappy, worried or anxious? Or are you finding it difficult to cope with your emotions whilst going through a life changing experience? Through counselling, I can help you to explore your issues and make better sense of your feelings. As a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with experience in working with adults on a one to one basis, helping them to address issues such as, anxiety, depression, stress or abuse. Together we will focus on your concerns to enable you to gain insight and understanding to unhelpful behaviour patterns and thoughts, which could lead to lack of confidence and negative self-worth.
I am also a qualified couple’s counsellor and help couples to explore and resolve couples issues such as affairs or abuse within the relationship, allowing them to find alternative ways of moving forward.
As an experienced counsellor, I also offer therapy to counselling students.
I currently practice in Birmingham City Centre & Walsall and offer individuals a supportive space to explore distressing life issues in a safe and non-judgemental environment. It is also my believe that the unique therapeutic relationship developed between myself and another human being is very powerful and instrumental in creating a trusting and respectful space, in which you can feel accepted.
As an Integrative Counsellor, my approach enables me to use specific theoretical models in order to help you cope with difficult life experiences, allowing you to achieve and enjoy your life fully.
As a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) I abide by their Code of Practice and work within their Ethical Framework, which means that any information you disclose will be treated confidentially.
