About me

All of us, at one time or another, are alone or sense that we are in real trouble.  Perhaps we feel stuck, depressed, anxious, lost, or maybe unable to even define what's wrong. We sense that there must be more, but can not reach it.

Psychosynthesis is a psychology of LOVE, WILL, and HOPE. It holds, at it's core, the principle that within EVERY human being exists the seeds of a freer, more authentic and happier life.  Often this potential is blocked as a result of unresolved relationship issues or trauma that unconsciously influence our thoughts, behaviours, relationships and beliefs about what is possible. Work with a psychosynthesis counsellor will help you will unblock that which is preventing you from living a life with more freedom, intimacy, choice and aliveness so that you come into a different relationship with yourself, others and the choices you make.

"We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust... Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit." -e. e. cummings

Testimonials:

"Beth has been an inspiration in changing and reframing the way I approach life. I was in a very dark place two years ago, feeling isolated, alone and trying to deal with depression and addiction issues.
Beth helped me through this dark time by always creating a loving safe environment where she took my hand and guided me through all my shame, guilt and vulnerabilities. As a male in today's society this can bring about fear and anxiety, but with her non judgemental approach she showed me that in my vulnerability lies my true strength and power....

I now have inner peace stillness and happiness in my life; my children have even noticed a major change within me which is so pleasing- Beth has helped me change my life ." ML

"With her gentle grace, unconditional love and deep insights Beth reconnects your broken fragments and allows your inner-beauty to shine through for once and forever, which makes you feel rejuvenated and whole. She made a difference to my life!!!" JW

"Beth is a warm compassionate being who's soul shines through as soon as you meet her this compassion is accompanied with a fountain of wisdom and deep spiritual insight that has had profound effect...what she really helped me understand is the concept that I am not my thinking mind that I have a choice whether to give my thoughts reality or let them go...."

Sessions are available face-to face in Bristol, Langport area, and online.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
