Annette Lark, MA, PGDip, MBACP
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Accredited Voluntary Register (AVR) and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I provide a confidential, supportive and non-judgemental environment in which to help with a range of difficulties that can arise in life, you may want help with:
- stress or anxiety
- depression or a general feeling of unhappiness
- relationships (partner, family or workplace)
- a crisis or life transition
- loss or bereavement
- eating disorders
- bullying or abuse
- feelings of anger
- low self worth or confidence
- addictions or related issues.
It may be a recent problem that brings you to counselling or perhaps earlier life events. Often current difficulties are connected with experiences in the past. By really listening to you without rushing in to give you advice we can explore these connections and the conscious and less conscious aspects of your thoughts, feelings and emotions. I can help you make sense of what is happening, at your own pace, in a way that is meaningful to you. This greater insight can offer new ways of thinking about things, help you feel differently about yourself and can lead to lasting change in the way that you live your life.
What to do next?
Please call or email to arrange an initial consultation. I also offer a free informal telephone discussion to talk about what brings you to counselling and we can look at what is right for you.
Telephone: 07502 577397 (this is an answerphone so please leave a message telling me when it will be convenient for me to call you back).
I practice from accessible and comfortable consulting rooms in Wokingham and Charvil. These are within easy reach of Twyford, Woodley, Sonning, Henley, Bracknell and surrounding areas. There is plenty of free parking close by at both locations.
