I can provide a confidentail space to explore your difficulties whatever they are.Life can catch up with us either suddenly or gradually. Anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or loss are common experiences that cause us to seek support.Thoughts and feelings begin to take over our ability to be present in the here and now preventing us achieving an enjoyable life. Life can be so busy and fast paced we get swept along, sometimes issues from the past remain with us and impact on the present, we become unable to deal with what's happening in our lives. Current changes in circumstances or health leave us feeling unable to cope. If you are looking at this website you have taken the first step to explore what's going on for you in order to make changes.
I work out of several rooms to cover different areas - Chelmsford and Stock.
I have worked in Nursing for over thirty years and went on to train as a Counsellor to gain greater understanding of the psychological aspects of people's needs. Both professions enable me to support change and make a difference for people who are finding life difficult. It takes courage for some to reach out for help and I am here when you feel ready to have someone support you through troubled times.
I can offer you a space to explore your thoughts and feelings and how you want to change, in a safe, empathic and non-judgemental environment. I will listen and reflect objectively. As a Counsellor I will not advise, we can work together to look at what is causing your difficulty and explore how you can bring about change for a more fulfilling future.
I provide a relaxed, safe space which you can use to explore what you choose, at you own pace. There will be no judgement just a friendly face who can listen and understand your troubles. I work using an integrative approach. There are many different theoretical counselling approaches and I tailor my work to suit your needs as we are all unique.
I offer face to face sessions that are fifty minutes and run at a regular time that suits you each week. I can also do telephone sessions in the same way if required.
I practice in various rooms at different locations to meet the needs of people living in different areas.
