Counsellor Profile

As well as my counselling qualification I have both the Diploma and Practioner qualification in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a Diploma in Clinical and Analytical Hypnotherapy.

I work with individuals, couples and groups.

I've been counselling since 2001 when I was given training to offer a one to one service as part of my job and have used the skills taught in each role since then. When the opportunity arose I undertook certificate and then diploma training to ensure I am able to offer this service as a fully trained, experienced, insured. intergrative counsellor.

I have been a carer for most of my life, I've also worked in advocacy and am aware of the difficulties some people face which might prevent them from accessing counselling. I have a BA Hons degree in Business Management and Information Technology
HNC in Business and Marketing
Certificate and Diploma in Counselling
Diploma in NLP

I have been married and divorced, I have three children - now all grown-up, I have been in debt, made redundant and nursed both parents through terminal illness. I have worked with carers and I have advocated for those too worn down to speak up for themselves. My qualifications, life experience and work experience all bring me to this conclusion - the world's expert on me is me and on you - it is you!

Fees

I offer five options for counselling:

Telephone Counselling (using a BT line)

Email Counselling

Instant Messager (AOL or ICQ) Counselling

Face to Face - either at counsellor's residence in WA7 or

Face to Face - Mobile Service - at client's home (For personal safety, counsellor escorted to client's home but driver will remain outside) - mileage may be charged at £0.40 per mile one-way for each visit to client's home but this will be agreed prior to any visit.

There is a discount for the last session when payment is made, in advance, for six sessions.
