About me
Who am I?
I am an experienced Relationship, Couple and Psychosexual therapist trained at the TCCR in London.
At the heart of my work is a profound interest in the dynamics and complexities of relationships - those in the arena of work and career as well as the more personal family ties and sexual partnerships. We are social beings, thus the part that relationships play in our lives underpins the foundation of our individual wellbeing.
What do I do?
In private practice between London and Brighton, I work within a psychodynamic framework and integrate behavioural and coaching techniques where required.
The help that I offer ranges from short term, goal orientated work, to a more classical, long term approach focused on a deeper and more personal exploration of either oneself or the couple.
Relationship Crisis-
During the lifespan of a relationship there are the milestones that can really benefit from a safe space to explore. Disconnection, parenting challenges, loss of sexual drives, affairs, illness, career stress are just some of the difficulties that couples face and they change the couple dynamic causing stress, crisis and difficulty. Having a trained person to talk these through with can make the difference between withdrawal, loneliness and disappointment to increased communication, reconnection and a rekindling of the relationship.
Autistic Spectrum Conditions & ADHD.
Over the course of my practice I have developed an interest in how these conditions impact a couple dynamic. I now offer couples specific education and behavioural techniques to help understand and manage the difficulties that can rupture the relationships if not managed.
This work is highly specialised and I have learnt these skills from therapists based in the US where some of these conditions have been recognised longer than here in the UK.
Neuro Diverse Couple Course - online course for couples struggling to navigate how neuro diversity plays out in their relationships.
Pre Marital Work -
With the changing face of our relationships making the chances of long term success of relationships difficult, it can sometimes be helpful for couples to think about the pre marital contract. The conversations around a shared value system , gender roles, career and child care decisions alongside the longterm financial implications of the marital status, can sometimes be helped by a trained third party. If these issues are aired at the very beginning it helps build a solid basis for the marriage rather one based on assumption.
- Sexual Difficulties -
Again the changing face of relationships is challenging attitudes to sex, fidelity and gender. Unite this with the stress of career and relationships and couples are looking at sex and its role in their relationships in an entirely different way. From sexual dysfunction to pornography, polyamory vs affairs, loss of desire to cyber sex, there are new challenges to be faced. As a psychosexual therapist I hope to be able to help individuals and couples face, discuss and find ways to manage these new issues. - Seperation
It is sometimes highly effective to work with me before mediation and/or lawyers. Sometimes, these conversations provoke thought and perhaps a rethinking. However if not, when the emotional issues can be explored and contained before the work of practical separation is done, it can help a couple make the transition from their couple relationship to its new form.

Member of COSRT (accred), BACP, UKCP.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
