Profile

No-one is perfect and sometimes need to reach out and find someone that will give us the support we need when we cannot find the answers ourselves.

As a Person-Centred Counsellor (who can offer CBT techniques if they would seem valuable) I see my role as providing a ‘safe space’ where you are free to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I believe that through my attitude of honesty, understanding, and valuing, you may become better able to accept all aspects of yourself.

My role is not one of expert; though I have training and experience, I believe you hold the answers to your dilemmas (you are the expert on you!). My aim is to offer you a set of attitudes and values which will enable us to find what you are looking for; helping you find the 'place' you want to be.

I counsel in Broseley, near Ironbridge, Telford. It is a comfortable, relaxed and peaceful room and I aim to offer a warm welcome. My service is confidential, supportive and professional where your well-being is my utmost concern.

I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.

If you have any questions, queries or would simply like to find out a little more about my service I would be happy to answer any enquiries you may have. Please feel free to contact me via email or on the phone number provided.

Most of all I want to convey that in coming to see me you will be valued and respected for who you are; free to explore your feelings, problems, thoughts and options without fear of judgement.
