Juliette Clarke BSc. MSc. MBACP (Accred.)
With over nineteen years experience as both a couples counsellor and individual counsellor/psychotherapist, I offer help with a wide range of problems such as relationship issues and conflict, anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, low self esteem, bereavement and loss.
I aim to be understanding and supportive, empathetic and non-judgmental; to listen and to offer a safe and confidential environment for us to explore why your problems might feel overwhelming - and help you to find a better way to manage them.
My experience is broad; I have worked as a couples counsellor for Relate, as a student counsellor for several University counselling services, for the NHS and in addition, over the past twelve years, I have run my own private counselling practice. Earlier on, I lived overseas, in Africa and the Far East, which has given me a greater awareness of cultural diversity, helpful in this cosmopolitan city.
I offer either short term counselling - for specific concerns - or long term help - when the problems are more complex and offer both day time and evening appointments. My approach is eclectic - I use a mixture of theoretical skills including CBT and Mindfulness, drawing on my wide range of experience to fit your particular needs. Please do look at my website above for further details.
