Carol Belsey at East Surrey Counselling Group
Hello and thank you for considering me as counsellor for either YOURSELF or your CHILD. I am a BACP Accredited counsellor, qualified since 2006, to degree level, to work with INDIVIDUALS FROM THE AGE OF 6 and am the founding counsellor of East Surrey Counselling Group.
I work from my consulting room in the lovely village of Godstone,Surrey which is close to Redhill and Caterham and two minutes from the M25 Junction 6. I have experience of working for different agencies and as a school counsellor, which have all added to my knowledge and understanding.
I work both short term and long term to suit each individual person and can offer you empathy, understanding and a weekly commitment to work hard with you or your child to help you overcome your difficulties and stumbling blocks towards a better future.
Please contact me with any queries or questions or to arrange an initial appointment in which we will explore your difficulties and see if we feel we can work well together. This initial appointment costs £50 but I allow 1.5 hrs instead of the normal 50 minute weekly session time so that we have plenty of time for exploration and getting to know each other a little.
My weekly session fees is £50, with some concessions available from £35 (£30 for unemployed, single clients) depending on your circumstances, which can be discussed at your first session.
If, when you contact me, my practice is full I can refer you to my colleagues Anne-Marie Cole, Paulette Bowyer and Marian Holmes who are all also part of East Surrey Counselling Group and work in the same room as myself. Anne-Marie works with older adolescents and adults on Mondays, offering afternoon and evening appointments, Marion with children and adolescents on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings and Paulette with all ages on a Monday morning. Paulette offers early morning sessions on a Monday morning (7.30am, 8.30am and 9.30am).
In addition to my counselling work I run a training organisation for fellow counsellors so my CPD commitment is always up to dateand taken seriously.
I look forward to hearing from you when you are ready
