Counsellor Profile

I offer confidential counselling, working with clients struggling with emotional issues affecting their health and well being. I understand that taking the first step to see a counsellor can be very daunting & I would like to help you on your journey to feel more in control of your life.

I have a Diploma in Counselling and I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I work within their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
My approach is Humanistic and Integrative, which means the relationship I form with my client, is as important therapeutically as the techniques and methods I use. When working with my client I am able to draw on my knowledge of

Following a career in IT and becoming a mother of two I retrained as a counsellor. I was drawn to working as a counsellor by my many emotional life experiences and through them I have learnt that I can help make a difference to people’s lives.

My current fee is £35 for a one-hour session and I review my fees annually in September.

I prefer to be paid at the end of each session by cash or cheque.

I offer a reduce rate for counsellors in training.

I have a private and comfortable counselling room on the ground floor at my home in Romsey, Hampshire where you can come and share your thoughts and feelings with me.

I am situated 10 minutes walk from the town centre or just 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Parking is available on my drive.
