I am a dedicated and experienced Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Life Coach offering both online and face to face counselling. I constantly research the field of counselling and work in a pro-active, solution focused manner.
My approach is non-judgmental and I have unconditional respect for my clients. As each client and their needs are unique I therefore ensure that I work towards helping them learn the skills that work for them rather than a fixed theory. I work with many clients who lack confidence and self-worth as well as ongoing problems with anxiety or depression, helping them achieve their full potential both in their private and professional life. I also specialise in relationship issues and bereavement counselling. Counselling is often useful for career and work related problems to help manage and improve communication skills, helping you to explore possible career changes. I offer face to face counselling in a safe and comfortable setting, online counselling, telephone counselling and home visits by arrangement. Appropriate counselling can change your life and help you choose and achieve your goals. Hypnotherapy is often useful when used in conjuction with counselling to help achieve goals and build self-confidence. It is also useful for anger management and anxiety as well as cessation of destructive behaviour patterns.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and am fully insured. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I trained at West Kent College. I have specialist training in anger management, stress and anxiety management. I have worked extensively with young people and also relationship and family problems. I am also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and am an NLP Practitioner and Life Coach. I also use CBT as part of my counselling therapy.
