About us
~ We have limited places for 10 free sessions of either CBT or counselling (talking therapy) for people living in Surrey on low income ~
Work Stress Solutions is an Epsom-based Charity covering the County of Surrey, supported by grants and donations. We provide many free or reduced-cost services to support individuals (aged 16 and over) to build new skills and develop their full potential. Our aim is to empower you to enrich your life.
We are so pleased to be able to introduce our new low-cost counselling service to people who are eligible to register with us - unemployed and living in Surrey. We have both CBT (for over 16s, via Zoom) and Integrative-Relational Counselling (for over 18s, face to face in either Ewell or Epsom) available, and we can offer up to 20 sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience
This service is run by experienced, mature students from accredited CBT and Counselling degree courses
All student therapists hold student membership of accredited bodies, and are supervised by experienced and accredited therapists and supervisors.
Member organisations *
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
