About me

What is the most wise, skilful, and compassionate thing you can do for yourself right now?

If that feels hard to answer, what might be getting in the way?

Many clients I work with are highly capable and functioning well outwardly, yet privately feel exhausted, anxious, or stuck. Life’s pressures often arrive quickly and relentlessly, making it difficult to truly care for yourself. You push through - sometimes at the expense of your wellbeing.

If you’re reading this, something inside you is already seeking change.

I offer a contained, reflective space where we slow down to understand the deeper patterns shaping your experience. Rather than managing symptoms alone, we work together to uncover the emotional, embodied dynamics beneath the surface. If you’re tired of pushing through alone, this may be the place to pause, reflect, and begin doing things differently.

My Approach

I am a relational, integrative therapist. I do not believe in applying a single model to every person. Instead, I draw from a range of approaches to create therapy that is shaped around you - your history, your temperament, and the particular difficulties you are facing.

The quality of the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. I offer a space that is thoughtful, steady and engaged, where honesty is welcome. We will pay attention not only to what you speak about, but to patterns that emerge over time - including those that may appear between us. When something feels stuck, distant or charged, we can explore it together rather than move past it.

Often, the strategies that once protected us begin to restrict us. Therapy can help make these patterns visible. With curiosity rather than judgement, we look at how the past may be shaping your present experience: creating room for clearer boundaries, more security in relationships and being able to celebrate your achievements without guilt or shame.

I also attend to the body. Emotions are not just ideas; they are lived, physical experiences. Slowing down enough to notice what you are actually feeling can open a different kind of understanding.

My aim is to offer depth, clarity and a space where real change becomes possible - so that you can live with more agency, less self-criticism, and a deeper sense of being at home in yourself.

Training, qualifications & experience

My professional journey lets you know I have the training and experience for this work. My training includes four years of in-depth study at the Minster Centre in London, where I completed a postgraduate diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling. I’m a registered member of the BACP. I choose to work with only a small number of people at a time, because I believe the work requires focus and care.

I have spent three years working for the social enterprise company Headstrong Hackney, and have worked with a set of clients encountering a diverse number of challenges. These include anxiety and depression, work related stress, addiction, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, sexual abuse, grief, trauma, or feeling lost without direction.

I have been on additional trainings for Bereavement and Dying, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Child Sexual Abuse, Domestic Abuse, Family and Belonging, Eco-Anxiety, Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity (GSRD), Racism in Real Time, Severe Presentations and the Use of Medication, and Time-Limited therapy.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
