About me

Hi, I’m Tim! I'm a Integrative Counsellor (incorporating a range of counselling approaches).  My aim is to offer you a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore any issues that you may be facing.

I support people experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, bereavement, life transitions, and more. If you’re simply feeling “stuck,” counselling can help you clarify what you need.

My working life, supporting both adults and teenagers, has given me the opportunity to appreciate people from the widest range of backgrounds and cultures, and I’d be seeking to understand and see the world through your eyes. I have personally benefited from time in counselling and therapy. I’d go as far as saying it has changed my life. I am passionate about creating spaces for others to access similar support and help.

One of my deepest convictions is that there is always hope. I have a huge belief in a person’s ability to find solutions and a way through whatever challenges and circumstances they are faced with. I believe everyone has value and everyone deserves kindness and I also know that we all need help, encouragement, support and space sometimes.

However I can support you, please get in touch to see how we can work together.

How I work:

I’m an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor and a member of NCPS (The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society). I have experience in supporting and counselling both adults and young people aged 11-18. My training is in an integrative model. This allows me to draw from a wealth of knowledge, training and experience from different therapeutic schools (including Psychodynamic concepts, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Transactional Analysis), and I can therefore help tailor our sessions around your individual needs.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have completed both my L4 Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling and my Level 5 CPCAB Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I also continue my professional development through a wide range of courses and through my clinical supervision.

I support people experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, bereavement, life transitions, and more. If you’re simply feeling “stuck,” counselling can help you clarify what you need.

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

As a therapist, I work to support people struggling with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship breakdown and bereavement. I also appreciate that sometimes people simply feel stuck and don’t quite know what they need help with. I believe talking that through can help identify what’s going on, before finding a way to move forward.
