Are you suffering with anxiety, hopelessness, depression? Are you feeling lost, alone, experiencing work pressures, have low self-esteem or are burnt out and feeling stressed? Are you looking for lower cost counselling to work with our of our student counsellors?
At The Wellbeing Garden, we believe that wellness belongs to everyone. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where people from all walks of life can find support, growth and healing.
In an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Wellbeing Garden is a private practice and placement provider nestled in the foothills of Solsbury Hill, on the outskirts of Bath. With two luxury glass-walled yurts that opens out onto our 5-acre land, The Wellbeing Garden boasts a serene and nurturing space designed to promote mental and emotional healing. With carefully curated plants, trees and seating areas, The Wellbeing Garden offers a unique approach to mental health, combining professional counselling with the healing power of nature.

Helen [Founding Director] is a qualified counsellor and supervisor. Helen has had extensive experience working with charities and is currently CEO in a local counselling charity. Helen offers professional counselling to individuals and couples and is also a supervisor to other counsellors and student counsellors. Helen is currently in her first year training as a Psychosexual Psychotherapist taking on clients at a lower rate from mid February 2025.
Simon [Founding Director] is a qualified counsellor with a natural leaning towards helping men. Simon has a background in housing, advocacy and aviation. He is also an author and has qualifications in law, mediation and project management.

The organisation is made up of various different membership categories, including Counsellor and Accredited, and requires all members working as counsellors to undertake Continuous Professional Development on a regular basis.
