About me
Hi, I'm Sharon and I am a qualified psychotherapist and hypnotherapist.
I am a qualified psychotherapist who practices as an integrative therapist which means that I use a range of elements from different approaches and theories to tailor sessions specifically to your needs. I am trained in working with individuals who have experienced childhood sexual abuse trauma, bereavement, menopause, and a wide range of mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression and anxiety, in addition to many other issues and conditions. I am also DBS qualified to work with children and young people.
I studied hypnotherapy as I discovered it was a great addition to counselling or as a standalone treatment. If nothing else, it enables you to go into a wonderful relaxing meditative state. You have the ability to change, and hypnotherapy gives you that control back, allowing you to explore memories, images, sensations and emotions that you can learn to manage.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Level 4 & a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and I specialise particularly in mental health, bereavement and childhood sexual abuse, although I do offer guidance for many other conditions and issues.
I trained in hypnotherapy and cover most areas for 'change' although hypnotherapy can also address issues such as past life healing. Incorporating NLP within my work has also made a profound difference to some people.
