About me

I'm a warm and grounded psychotherapist who takes an approach where you can feel at ease to share your challenges and explore who you are as an individual.

I offer an open and safe space where I can support you to look at the patterns in your life that may be holding you back. We can work together to reflect on your experiences and also work through the emotions that may be arising for you.

As your therapist, I adapt to meet your needs, supporting you through talk therapy, as well as inviting one or a mixture of the arts, which may include art therapy, sand tray, somatic practices (to work with the body), or breath work if you choose to.

Training, qualifications & experience

My formal Psychotherapy training was held at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE), accredited by the University of East London (UEL).

My intensive formal training and additional training include the following:

  • MA Integrative Arts Psychotherapy
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Arts

  • Level 2 Certificate in Community Arts - Rosetta Arts Studio: (Skills and Education Group Awards)

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
