About me

As you are here reading these words, then you may be taking the first steps in seeking someone to help you in certain areas of your life.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I have trained and practised in the major psychological therapies and am able to integrate them in a way that will best meet your needs. My experience has taught me that the greatest potential for growth develops within the therapeutic relationship. The foundation of this relationship is built upon you feeling safe, heard, understood and valued without judgement.

My focus is you as a person, to understand how you experience the world in the present moment. With this in mind I prefer not to list all the ‘conditions’ I can work with as your experience is unique in the world.

Please take the time to have a look through the rest of my website and if you have any further questions or would like to arrange an initial introductory session then please do get in touch.

Training, qualifications & experience

I first qualified as a physical education teacher and soon found a disposition for teaching students with educational needs different to those offered by the mainstream. In order to learn more about the human mind and further my understanding of the human condition, I gained a Psychology degree. This, coupled with a thirst for philosophy, led to me training as a counsellor. I have two years experience of working within the NHS occupational health department as a counsellor.
