About me

Before training as a therapist, I worked in a creative field where I experienced sudden highs and challenging lows. Despite reaching goals I had once aspired to, I became aware of an underlying sense of disappointment and emptiness.

This led me to reflect more deeply on the limits of achievement as a means of resolving younger ideas about who one is and more free to understand what I really wanted from this life.

Today, these insights, the resulting shifts and the meaning that arose from that process plays its role to inform the work with clients.

I provide warm, nonjudgmental curiosity and a safe space as we work toward developing inner awareness . The work is at depth and can take time.

I have seen through the years how cultivating this awareness of yourself through attuned relational enquiry leads to greater self-acceptance, grounded clarity and a stronger sense of direction through authenticity.

What I offer is underpinned by western psychology and yet at its heart, includes the wisdom and spiritual philosophy from many faiths and wisdom traditions.

I work with adults online and in person and welcome any further questions you may have.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at the Karuna Institute, recognised for developing one of the UK’s first mindfulness-based psychotherapy trainings.

I hold an MA in Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy and am an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

Over the years, I have gained experience in supported clients through a wide range of challenges. Core Process is an integrative approach, working with body and mind to uncover what lies beneath the surface and open the way to deeper understanding, choice, and freedom.
