Niloo Mersaditabari - MSc, BSc, BACP
I work integratively using various modalities I am trained in, to tailor my approach based on your unique needs and values. I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental and open space for us to explore what matters to you. I believe therapy happens in the context of a relationship we build together.
At times the aim is to find deeper meanings, connections and fulfilment; other times the depth of suffering might stop us from functioning on a day-to-day basis. I am experienced in working with a range of difficulties such as low self-esteem, sense of isolation and loneliness, immigration and cultural integration issues, attachment difficulties, depression, social and generalised anxiety, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, mood-related difficulties, bipolarity, body-related problems, sexual and sexuality challenges, trauma-related struggles, and relationship and family issues.
I am also available if you need professional support and a safely held space to deal with everyday struggles of being a human being faced with life's ups and downs, changes, losses, as well as identity, existential (e.g., facing the climate change crisis and death anxiety) and spiritual dilemmas.
I am particularly experienced in supporting individuals through the integration phase of spiritual experiences and awakenings such as those emerged through meditation or other spiritual practices. Similarly, I also welcome clients looking for integration after psychedelic and plant medicine experiences.
From the end of March till the end of October, in addition to therapy room sessions, I offer optional daytime 'walk and talk' sessions in Highgate Wood, Hampstead Heath, Epping Forest and Hackney Marshes. See http://www.gaiatherapylondon.com/mindfulness-and-ecotherapy.html for details.
I offer Skype/Zoom counselling as well as life coaching sessions for a lower fee.
