About me

Most of my work is with ADHDers, and/or people who are LGBTQ+ or GSRD (gender, sex and/or relationship diverse). I offer an affirming approach whether or not ADHD or GSRD relate directly to our work together.

Clients come to me because something isn’t working for them and they want to change that. I'm warm and approachable and can help if you want to feel more connected with yourself, more comfortable in your skin, or to improve your relationships with others.

Perhaps you're already creating change for yourself and need support navigating the gap between here and where you're heading. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, uncertain or overwhelmed, finding it hard to progress things that are important to you. You may be facing challenges in your relationships, experiencing rejection, loss or misunderstanding. Perhaps difficult experiences from your past may have become obstacles to you being who you want to be in the present.

Having a space to explore what’s happening for you and to look at things from new angles can enable you to understand yourself and others better, leading to improved communication and relationships and greater trust in yourself, your judgement and your abilities.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have an NCS accredited Advanced Diploma in Counselling and my training is integrative, meaning I use elements from a range of modalities (including but not limited to Person-centred, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Trauma-Focused) to best suit you. I approach this as a collaboration: as we get to know each other, we co-create our way of working; it's a dynamic process that can adapt and change over time.

I am a volunteer counsellor with the Intercom Trust, working with LGBTQ+ people and their family members. As a student counsellor, I worked with people living with life-limiting diagnoses and their family members and carers, with St Luke's Hospice Plymouth.

I welcome clients from all and any background and am passionate about affirming intersectional differences. I have particular knowledge and experience in the areas of non-monogamy (e.g. polyamory, swingers, ENM), gender diversity, queerness and ADHD. I'm sex and kink-positive. I also undertake regular CPD in order to broaden my understanding and appreciation of other areas of difference and marginalisation.
