About me

I am a qualified counsellor and couple and relationship psychotherapist, a registered COSRT, NCPS, NHS and IEMT Association member with over 1,200 hours of counselling practice. I work with individuals, couples and other forms of relationships. I offer a client-centred, integrative approach, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs, experiences and goals.

My work draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, humanistic and existential approaches, transactional analysis, as well as hypnosis and Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT). This enables work with both conscious processes and underlying belief systems, supporting meaningful and lasting change.

I work with all types of clients. I particularly specialise in anxiety, depression, anger, chronic pain, loss and bereavement, stress, trauma, cultural distress, self-esteem, confidence, including sexual confidence, as well as all types of relational issues.

Also, I work with all types of relationships, including LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse clients, and with couples where one or more partners experience mental health difficulties or neurodivergence. I also support parents with parenting issues, including improving relationships with adult children.

I believe that each client is unique and provide a warm, non-judgemental and reflective therapeutic space. I have particular strengths in active listening, emotional attunement and adapting sessions to individual circumstances.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and cultural awareness and a master’s degree in Linguistics. I previously worked as an interpreter in international corporate environments, where I developed strong active listening skills, including the ability to read body language and interpret meaning “between the lines.” I also worked as a visiting lecturer at several universities for over eight years. Besides, I provided regular translation software trainings and CPD courses to professional translators for over 15 years in various companies, organisations and governmental bodies. This experience informs my inclusive, culturally sensitive, and anti-discriminatory practice, as well as my understanding of culture, identity, and relational dynamics.
