About me
I am a professional pluralistic therapist. I utilise various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, Psychodynamic, Humanistic approaches, Transactional Analysis, Existential therapy, as well as Hypnosis and Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT, similar to EMDR). In this way I encompass work with the conscious mind and subconscious belief system, ‘upgrading’ it in accordance with current clients’ needs. This makes therapy experience comprehensive.
I am also a Couple and Relationship Counsellor. I work with all types of relationships, including LGBTQ+, as well as working with couples where some of partners have mental health issues or neurodivergence. I also help parents with parenting issues and help parents to significantly improve relationships with adult children.
I strongly believe in that each client is unique. I have strong skills to listen to people and hear what they actually mean, and I tailor my sessions based on the unique client’s needs and circumstances. By my first higher education, I hold bachelor’s degree in psychology and cultural awareness, as well as master’s degree in translation. I’ve worked for over 20 years in international corporate environment. It helped me to develop a particular skill to tune into the client's thoughts, feelings and emotions, to read between the lines, and to hear their thoughts rather than words. This also gave me an insight into such psychological phenomenon as “othering”, be it based on culture, age, sex, sexuality, race, or any other minorizing aspects. I am open-minded, and truly believe that people’s identity can’t be boxed in. It also helped me to become empathic and accepting. I love to share these skills with my clients, and I simply love people. The most fascinating journey for me is sharing a journey with my clients towards their personal growth and success.
