About me
You may be here for a variety of reasons: perhaps you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, lonely, experience challenges in your relationships or struggle with recurring, anxious thoughts. My aim is to welcome you with genuine care and understanding, so you can catch your breath and begin to see your reality more clearly. I can help you to understand yourself and your needs better, and support you in navigating your current situation so you can experience more satisfaction, meaning, joy and a sense of autonomy in different areas of your life.
The therapeutic process often involves detangling oneself from unhelpful patterns and past experiences. I help my clients to get to the roots of their problems and process any past traumatic experiences in a safe and nurturing space. This usually results in feeling more empowered and inspired to engage with life in a new way whilst the symptoms of depression, anxiety or difficult relational patterns loosen their grip.
I am a trauma-informed, psychotherapeutic counsellor and support clients with a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, lack of confidence, work issues and stress, difficulties related to neurodivergence (e.g. ADHD or autism), family and relationships challenges. I meet each individual with authentic care and tailor my approach as appropriate.
My way of working is humanistic integrative and relational, which means that I put emphasis on the quality of the therapeutic relationship, and draw on different therapeutic modalities, including Gestalt, compassion-focused, existential, psychodynamic, person-centered, attachment and Jungian theories.
I work collaboratively with my clients, meaning I don't force my agenda or insights. Instead, I help individuals to look at things from different angles, reflect deeply and connect the dots in a way that resonate and feel true to them.
I'm interested in women's issues, men's issues and gender roles, neurodiversity, self-esteem and confidence, body-image, chronic illness and psychosomatic health problems, work related issues and stress, burn out, spirituality, relationships and intimacy.
I often help my clients to restore a sense of self-worth, to find more meaning and direction in life and fulfilment in their relationships.
I can also support with integration of psychedelic experiences or other expanded states, please see my website for more details.
Each therapeutic journey is unique and I continue to be in awe of the diversity of human experience. It's important to me that the people I work with feel understood, and in my practice I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ community and ethical non-monogamy.
I am sensitive to the issues of belonging and otherness, and the ways in which socio-economic structures and cultural context shape our lives. In my approach I aim to be inclusive, respectful and compassionately curious.
I offer online, telephone and in-person sessions in Hammersmith and Brixton. Daytime and evening appointments are usually available, please enquire for details.
The best way to contact me is via email. Please let me know which location you are interested in (Hammersmith, Brixton or perhaps online) and your preferred day/ time of the sessions. All enquiries are treated as confidential.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have experience working as a counsellor within the NHS as well as private and charity organisations, supporting individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, suicidal thoughts, relationships and family issues, stress related to work, life transitions, loss, chronic illness, disordered eating, OCD, addiction and complex trauma.
I also have an interest in and experience of working with neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism.
My previous professional experience includes working as a Learning & Development Manager in business where I supported groups and individuals with their personal and professional growth. This blend of coaching and therapeutic experience allows me to help my clients identify and work towards meaningful outcomes.
I trained at Metanoia Institute and CPPD Counselling School in London. I am a registered member of the BACP and abide by their Ethical Framework.
I previously studied arts and design, and I'm a certified conscious dance facilitator. I bring a toolkit of embodiment and creative practices that can be utilised in service of deeper healing.
I am passionate about my own personal and professional development, and continue to engage in additional training that enables me to enhance my practice.
I am fluent in English and Polish and offer therapy in both languages.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Psychedelic integration
I understand the risks and opportunities that are linked to the expanded states of consciousness. I can support individuals with previous psychedelic and other non-ordinary experiences (e.g. following a meditation retreat or a holotropic breathwork session) to make sense of and integrate these states into one's life. (Disclaimer: Please note the use of psychedelic substances is currently illegal in the UK. I offer preparation and integration support only for harm reduction purposes. I do not encourage the use of illicit substances in unregulated and illegal frameworks).
