About me

Welcome to my profile! I am glad you are considering taking this important step. Seeking support takes courage, and I am here to help you face whatever challenges are in your way.
A Unique Approach for You
There is no one-size-fits-all in therapy. I draw from a variety of approaches to tailor our sessions to your needs - whether it is understanding your emotions, addressing past experiences, or finding new perspectives.
Building a Genuine Connection
What sets me apart is the real connection I strive to build with each client. I am genuinely interested in your story. Clients often say they feel comfortable with me quickly, and that is because I work hard to create a safe, judgement-free space where you can be yourself.
Getting to the Root of Things
The stories we tell ourselves - shaped by our past and often unconscious beliefs -can influence how we live our lives. We will uncover these deeper patterns together, helping you gain new insights and shift towards a more positive, empowering perspective.
Why I Became a Therapist
My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own experiences of trauma. I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming it can feel. These personal challenges fuelled my passion for helping others, and they drive my commitment to providing compassionate, effective support. I understand what it is like to struggle, and I am here to help you find your way through it.
Healing from Trauma
Trauma can leave you feeling stuck, both mentally and physically. Whether it’s from a tough childhood, a painful relationship, or something else, we will work through it at your pace. My goal is to help you move from just surviving to feeling safe and calm.
Tackling Relationships and Work Stress
Relationships and work can be tough. If you’re dealing with boundaries, trust issues, or workplace stress, we can explore these areas together. With my background in Corporate Finance and Sports Coaching, I offer distinct perspectives that can help you find balance and build confidence.
Understanding and Managing Limerence
Limerence - a state of intense emotional attachment or infatuation - can be all consuming and confusing. It often leaves you feeling stuck in a cycle of obsessive thoughts and longing. In our work together, we will explore the root causes of these feelings, helping you understand and manage them. My goal is to help you regain control and find healthier ways to navigate your emotions and relationships.
Navigating Cultural and Spiritual Concerns
Cultural and spiritual issues are deeply personal and sometimes complicated. Whether you're struggling with your cultural identity, religious beliefs, or have faced religious trauma, I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space to explore these challenges.
Grief and Loss
Grief is a heavy burden, and everyone carries it differently. If you have lost someone close to you, whether recently or long ago, I am here to support you through it. We will work together to honour your feelings and memories, helping you find a path toward healing.
Support for Baby Loss
Losing a baby is a pain like no other. In our sessions, you will find a safe, empathetic space where you can express your grief and begin to heal. We will navigate this difficult journey together, honouring your baby’s memory while helping you reconnect with life.
Finding Relief from Anxiety and Depression
Anxiety can be overwhelming, but it does not have to control your life. Together, we will get to the root of what is driving your anxiety and develop practical strategies to take back your peace of mind. My goal is to help you break free from the grip of anxiety and start living with more calm and confidence.
Specialised Support for Doctors
Working in the medical field comes with immense pressure and emotional tolls. If you are a doctor dealing with burnout, compassion fatigue, or struggling with work-life balance, I am here to offer you specialised support. We will focus on building resilience, prioritising self-care, and reconnecting with your purpose.
Support for Expats
Living abroad brings unique challenges-cultural adaptation, identity shifts, and maintaining long-distance relationships can all be tough. As someone experienced in working with expats, I understand what you are going through. Together, we can work through feelings of displacement and help you establish a sense of belonging and stability in your new environment.

I am here to support you every step of the way. Let’s connect and start a conversation that could make a real difference in your life.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
