About me

I am a Person – Centred counsellor and fundamentally believe you have within you the ability to heal past and present emotional hurt to develop a deeper understanding of what it means to be you. At times this process of exploration may seem difficult, painful and frustrating; and perhaps empowering, uplifting and satisfying too!

Do others’ voices, feelings and needs take precedence over yours? Are you struggling to locate who you are and where you belong? Are relationships with your children, partner and colleagues becoming more fraught?

As a Person - Centred therapist my aim is to provide a genuine relationship with empathy and acceptance at the core and a space where we hold your present and past experiences to make sense of sensations and feelings which come up for you. I metaphorically walk alongside you as you traverse the sometimes uncertain, rocky path of discovery. This way of working, in collaboration, can facilitate movement towards living a more fulfilled and authentic life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered member of B.A.C.P. and comply with the professional standards and ethics set out in their Ethical Framework. I work in person and offer short term and long term therapy. I also offer outdoor therapy, if this is something you wish to explore.

Alongside my counselling practice in Kentish Town, I continue to work as a volunteer therapist with the Parent and Carers Counselling Service (PCCS), this service offers free therapy to parents and carers of children in Camden schools. I previously volunteered as a therapist for CARIS Islington, a bereavement charity offering free therapy to adults.

I have extensive knowledge and experience of working in the education sector, as a Montessori teacher, for over fifteen years and am a Forest School Leader. These roles have deepened my love for working in nature and broadened my understanding of the restorative and healing benefits the outdoor environment can offer.
