About me

I'm an integrative counsellor based in Glasgow and for me, one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship we build together.

I'm interested in getting to know you, understanding your experiences and making sense of how life has shaped the way you see yourself and the world around you.

I don't believe there's one way of doing therapy that works for everyone. I like to work creatively when it feels right, especially when things are difficult to put into words. I'm curious about people and the different ways we all make sense of our experiences.

More than anything, I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be yourself, without feeling judged or needing to have everything figured out. Somewhere we can explore things together, at your pace, and begin to understand what's going on beneath the surface.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed my Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy at Murray's Initiative in 2024, where I received training in a range of therapeutic approaches, theories and techniques. This has provided me with a broad foundation of knowledge and practical skills, allowing me to work flexibly and thoughtfully with each individual. My integrative approach recognises that no two people are the same, and enables me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, experiences and circumstances.

Life can bring all sorts of challenges, and sometimes it can be difficult to make sense of how we're feeling or what we need.

As an integrative counsellor, I work with a range of experiences, including:

  • Anxiety and stress - feeling overwhelmed, worried or struggling to cope.
  • Loss and life changes - bereavement, separation, moving somewhere new or navigating periods of uncertainty.
  • Relationships - difficulties with family, partners, friendships or feeling disconnected from others.
  • Self-esteem and identity - low confidence, self-doubt, feeling lost or wanting to understand yourself better.
  • Addiction and dependency - exploring your relationship with alcohol, substances or certain behaviours, with curiosity and without judgement. Making sense of what these may mean for you and the role they play in your life.
  • Work and university life - burnout, career changes, academic pressures or feeling unsure of your direction.
  • Neurodiversity - exploring your experiences of ADHD, autism or feeling different from those around you.
  • Creativity and self-expression - creative blocks, perfectionism or finding new ways to express yourself.
  • Personal growth - making sense of your emotions, exploring patterns and finding what feels meaningful to you.

You don't need to have a clear idea of what's wrong or know exactly what you want from therapy. Sometimes it's simply about having a space to talk, explore and feel understood.

If you're unsure whether I can support you with something, please get in touch.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
