About me
I am a registered (MBACP) Integrative counsellor and provide counselling to men and women (18+) in person and online. In-person sessions take place at Banbury Therapy Group.
I offer an accepting, confidential and authentic therapeutic relationship. Together we will create a space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences and any issues which you want to process.
I believe you are the expert of yourself and you are worthy of being heard and understood.
You might be feeling anxious or be having intrusive thoughts. You might feel uncomfortable in social settings or new environments. You might be struggling with insomnia or panic. You might be feeling demotivated and struggling to find enjoyment in life. You might be processing the loss of a relationship or loved one. You might feel lost and without purpose. You might be having a crisis of faith or identity.
Whatever it is that has brought you here, I can help you explore your challenges and discover your own insights. We will gently delve into your experiences and move towards self-acceptance and compassion.
Clients have come to me feeling hopeless and lost and as a result of our work together have reconnected with themselves and found their own direction.
How does it work?
Contact me via email or phone to set up a free initial 30 minute consultation.
This is an opportunity to see whether we are a good fit. I will tell you more about me and how I work. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have. I will in turn ask you what you are looking for. If we agree to work together, we can schedule your first session.
What will happen in the first session?
In our first meeting, we will go over our counselling agreement together to outline how it works. We will explore what has brought you here, discover what you are looking to achieve in counselling and what you would like to focus on. I will use my skills to help you to understand and connect with yourself and move towards your goal.
We will review our work regularly to discuss how you feel about the process.
How I work
I am trained as an integrative counsellor and use a combination of skills. I will tailor our session to you and what you need. I have training in CBT and Creative therapeutic practices alongside talking therapy. My main modalities are person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT.
I am a registered member of BACP and adhere to their ethical framework.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
