About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes the hardest step is reaching out. If you are reading this, you have already begun and I am here to walk alongside you as you find your way forward. As a psychodynamic and integrative psychotherapist I am especially interested in how our early relationships and life experiences shape who we become, leading to patterns of self sacrifice, difficulty with identity and sense of not fully belonging. My work focuses on helping you understand these roots, so that you can make sense of your story and find a stronger sense of self.
Whether you are navigating, loss, anxiety, depression, trauma or simply everyday challenges of life, the first thing I'd want you to know is that you don't have to carry everything on your own. I believe change begins the moment you feel truly heard, therapy with me is not about fixing you, but walking alongside you as you find your way forward.

I would be happy to have a free 15 minutes phone conversation with you so that you can get a sense of who I am and how we might form a therapeutic bond. Please contact me to arrange to speak at a mutually convenient time.

Practice description
Life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or isolating at times, and speaking with a trained therapist offers the chance to untangle those emotions, gain clarity, and feel truly heard. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, relationships, or personal growth, talking to someone who listens without judgment can make a meaningful difference.

Also known as talk therapy, psychotherapy is a collaborative process where we work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Whether you’re dealing with a specific concern or a more general sense of unease, therapy can help you gain clarity and develop tools for lasting change.

Often the cause of emotional issues can be found in close, complex relationships - with family, partners, friends and even colleagues. Whilst therapy isn’t a silver bullet for resolving longstanding problems, it can be hugely helpful in changing your reflex responses to certain emotional triggers and reducing the frequency of conflict.

You might be struggling with stress, anxiety, low mood, or relationship difficulties. Therapy offers a non-judgmental, reflective space to understand emotional patterns, uncover the root causes of distress, and strengthen your ability to respond with agency and self-awareness.

Short-Term Therapy
A focused, goal-oriented approach that helps you address specific concerns such as workplace stress, relationship issues, or sleep difficulties.

Long-Term Therapy
An in-depth exploration of past experiences, unconscious processes, and emotional patterns. Ideal for complex issues like trauma, identity struggles, and long-standing anxiety or depression.

My aim is to help you build emotional resilience, understand your inner world, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

My first session
To decide if therapy is for you, I offer free 15 minutes call to discuss what you are hoping to achieve from therapy.

Once you have decided to proceed I will carryout an assessment which usually takes 90 minutes and is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. It helps me understand your experiences, challenges, and hopes, so we can shape the right support for you. It’s also a space for you to ask questions and decide whether this feels like the right fit for your journey.

I produce a report of the assessment which I can share with you, following the assessment the subsequent sessions are carried out weekly and are 50 minutes in duration.
