Lynda Piears - Cypselae Counselling
I have a private practice based in Alton and I offer daytime and evening appointments to individuals over the age of 16 and I also work with couples. I work with many issues like; bereavement and loss, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship and communication issues, suicide and depression, chronic health and pain conditions, abuse, issues linked to childhood and schooling to name a few.
I work with the whole person, their experiences, thoughts and feelings. I believe that by offering the right conditions of a safe, trusting, caring, respectful and honest relationship I help to create the right conditions for change and growth.
I work collaboratively with my clients, working together so that one day, each client will feel able to carry-on, on their journey feeling strong, self-aware and able to manage the challenges that will come from living and being in the world.
I am passionate about the positive effects that counselling and psychotherapy can achieve. I believe that as human beings we are all seeking meaningful connections and need to feel valued. In order to achieve this we need to know ourselves by being self-aware and understand what our needs are. By talking to me I can help you to explore past hurts, difficult feelings and experiences so that you can make the changes needed to be able to be the person you want to be.
I welcome diversity and value the uniqueness of each person irrespective of gender, sexual orientation, religion, race or age.
I am based at Pure Alternative Therapies in Alton which is a lovely quiet, calm and safe space.
