About me
I want to offer a space for anyone to come and be free to explore, talk and walk through issues about sex, sexuality and relationships. To qualify as a Psychosexual and Relationships Therapist, you need to learn about every aspect of sex and relationships. I can provide sex education, understanding about our mind and body experiences when it comes to intimacy and help untangle the mysteries of relationships dynamics. Whatever question you may have or issue you may want to explore, I ensure that we work through it holistically, covering biological, psychological and social aspects. This is important as I want to provide the most appropriate care to you, so you can find a sustainable resolution to your question or issues. Sex is a huge part of our identity and finding comfort and happiness in this space is fundamental to overall happiness. It is immensely rewarding to think that as a therapist, I can contribute to bring happiness back in your life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked with Individuals and Couples on a broad range of issues around sexual and relationships difficulties. This includes any sexual dysfunction (male or female), exploring separation, betrayal and affairs, desire discrepancy between partners and many more.
I constantly update my training by undertaking additional modules of learning to keep my knowledge up to date.
Originally, I have trained with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology, and I hold a Diploma in Clinical Sexology and Relationships Therapy. My training has been done with a pluralistic approach which means that I choose a therapeutic process which will be relevant for the needs of my client. There is no standard approach because we are all different, and have different needs. As part of my training, I completed over 150 hours of clinical work.
Prior to the Diploma, I have done a Bachelors degree in Psychology and foundations training in Counselling. I have worked with people, for many years, in supporting their personal growth through coaching and mentoring which included important elements of Psychology principles.
