Seeking counselling is a brave step toward self-discovery and healing. Counselling is frequently sought after for a variety of reasons, such as anxiety or depression relief, navigating life transitions, stress management, trauma or bereavement recovery, relationship enhancement, and promoting self-awareness and personal development.

In addition to providing a warm non-judgmental safe space, I offer a professional, confidential, person-centred approach for you to explore whatever issues and challenges you are facing. I am passionate about my work and pride myself on tailoring our sessions to your needs and wants, I am trained and have experience in several specialist psychological models; such as CBT, Person-centred, solution-focused therapy and Psychodynamic.

While every person's journey is different, anyone can explore their ideas, feelings, thoughts, emotions, and experiences. while gaining valuable insights and tools to navigate their lives with greater clarity and resilience.

My aim is for you to feel valued, seen, heard, and accepted, to empower you and improve your well-being and quality of life.

Free Consultation

I understand that reaching out for help can feel daunting, but if you're prepared to take that initial step forward, scheduling a free consultation call is the first step. This call typically lasts around 20 minutes and serves as an opportunity for us to see if we are a good match, and determine how I can offer you the most effective support. I'm here to address any inquiries you may have, and afterward, we can schedule your first session to commence our collaborative journey. Feel free to email me, visit my website, send me a message, or book a call.

Training, qualifications & experience

For several years, I've been part of a counselling service, gaining valuable experience in addressing a variety of issues. I'm committed to ongoing professional development to stay knowledgeable and continue to add courses to improve my skills.

I have my private practice covering a wide range of issues.

National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society

This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
