About me

I help teens, adults & couples overcome past or present unhealthy/abusive/narcissistic relationships, to find a healthy future.

Are you or your teen 'now' affected by distressing past relationship/s or event/s?

Do relationships continue to be affected; family, romantic, friendships, work, school?

Is your/their health being affected; low mood or anxiety, migraines, chronic health issues & BPD diagnosis may all be indicative of past trauma.

Distressing events are anything that an adult or young person has found overwhelming; bullying, issues in school/work, divorce/separation, loss of any kind, health issues, bankruptcy, etc.

I struggled with abusive/narcissistic relationships for years & needed support to understand how this affected me & what I needed to change to have healthy relationships.

I am actively involved in sessions, direct & honest, offering much needed emotional support & validation, coaching, different perspectives & new understanding.  This way of working won’t work for everyone & that’s absolutely ok.  First individual sessions are half price, so you can get a real feel for how I work.

I’m passionate about supporting families, couples, adults & teens to understand unhealthy relationships or move past difficult life event/s to give you the confidence to be healthier & happier in your connections with others.

Flexibility:

I can support the therapy process by working with the family/partners within sessions or separately as needed if appropriate.

I can also offer flexible sessions throughout the week to work with varying weekly work schedules to a small number of clients.

My experience in working with young people, adults & families from diverse backgrounds through schools, charities & private practice means that I can support families & individuals from all backgrounds.

Contact:

Please contact me by email if you or your child would like to begin building the skills to overcome your/their relationships or key life event issues.

I will aim to respond within 48 hours (usually the same day).

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
