About me
I specialise in working with teens, adults & couples to explore family issues, specifically unhealthy, abusive, toxic or narcissistic relationships with ex/partners &/or family members.
Signs of an abusive past might include struggling in all your relationships; being a people pleaser (putting everyone else’s needs before your own), being unable to say No & fearing rejection. Also, suffering with often multiple health issues; low mood &/or anxiety, migraines, chronic health issues or personality disorders.
I am a LGBTQIA+ friendly, Trauma Informed therapist. I have specific training in Family Systems, Couples, Teens, Trauma, Abuse, Narcissism, Autism, ADHD & Self Harm/Risk.
I am professional but more importantly human.
I self disclose appropriately, because my personal & professional experience has shown this will support your healing; understanding you are not alone.
Unfortunately, I have lived experience of abusive/narcissistic relationships. As a single parent, I had to made difficult choices for myself & my now adult child. I will support you to do whatever is right for you, Contact or Low/No contact.
I am actively involved in sessions, direct & honest, giving much needed emotional support, validation & parenting support if needed. I offer coaching, different perspectives & new understanding. I will encourage you to find your voice.
I swear (shit, WTF, ffs etc) because in my opinion sometimes life & our past/present needs a swear word or 2!
I will support you on YOUR healing journey, which will be unique to you :)
I can support the therapy process by working with the family/partners within sessions or separately as needed if appropriate.
