About me
Welcome to a safe and compassionate space to explore life’s challenges. I’m here to help you work through whatever you’re facing—whether it’s anxiety, trauma, or self-esteem struggles—with sessions tailored to your unique needs.
Offering face-to-face, online, and phone counselling and psychotherapy, I provide non-judgmental support to empower you to make positive changes and embrace your full potential. Ready to take that step? Let’s work together to create the life you deserve.
My approach
I believe everyone deserves a fulfilling life. Using an integrated approach, I provide a safe space where you can talk openly, understand yourself better, and make positive changes. Each session is tailored to your needs, empowering you to reach your full potential. My non-directive approach offers support as we work together to navigate life's challenges, helping you embrace acceptance and harness your power of choice.
I specialise in neurodivergence and I have a drive and dedication to this area, which has led me to immerse myself in learning and specialising in neurodivergence for many years.
In addition to traditional counselling, I offer Rewind Trauma Therapy, an effective approach for PTSD and CPTSD that has a high success rate. This technique helps permanently stop involuntary recall by filing the traumatic event so it comes under control—often in just three sessions.
Please visit my website which has a wealth of self-help guides https://supportivecounselling.co.uk/blog/ and an FAQ section to answer many common questions regarding counselling https://supportivecounselling.co.uk/faqs/.

My approach is tailored to help you navigate life's challenges, whether you're dealing with trauma, autism, bereavement, stress, or just feeling overwhelmed and sad. I provide compassionate support for improving mental health through methods like Person-Centred Therapy, Humanistic Therapies, and Mindfulness.
I am a children's counsellor offering a variety of methods such as play therapy.
I work with clients facing OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, and work-related stress. My services also extend to those struggling with anger management, loneliness, or challenges like health anxiety, perfectionism, or phobias. I have experience supporting individuals with neurodiversity, and those going through separation, divorce, affairs, betrayals, or abuse (emotional, physical, or sexual).

I work with all people from children to adults, believing that seeking help during difficult times is a sign of strength. I have supported many clients in overcoming limiting beliefs and traumatic experiences, empowering them to achieve positive change.
As well as my private practice I manage a charity counselling project, mentoring trainee counsellors and handling complex cases. With experience in both the NHS and charity sector, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
Counselling
Your first session is an introduction to one another and getting used to the safe space that we create. I have written a useful blog about what to expect in your first session https://supportivecounselling.co.uk/what-to-expect-in-your-first-counselling-session/
Counselling sessions are charged at £60.
Rewind Trauma Therapy
The Rewind is different from other imaginal exposure therapies because no details are disclosed to the therapist Hence the treatment is known as "closure without disclosure".
The Rewind offers a way of permanently stopping the involuntary recall by filing the traumatic event so it comes under control. Voluntary recall remains.
Rewind Trauma Therapy sessions are charged at £80.
For single event traumas, two to three sessions at most are required.
For multiple event trauma, such as: combat, sexual abuse; domestic violence; etc. each traumatic event can be dealt with separately over separate sessions but, depending on the way the involuntary recall represents, can also be dealt with in one session.
Payment
An invoice will be emailed to you on the day of the session. I accept debit cards, credit cards and bank transfer.
