Psychotherapeutic Counsellor Prof.Dip.Psyc MNCPS

About me

I'm a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor based in Wokingham, Berkshire, offering online and in-person therapy for adults aged 18 and over. My approach is gentle, thoughtful, and led by you. Clients often tell me they feel at ease talking to me, and I believe therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating or clinical. My aim is to help you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, so we can explore whatever has brought you here, together. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, loss, relationship difficulties, feeling overwhelmed, or simply feeling unlike yourself, I offer a calm, accepting space where you can speak freely, make sense of what's happening, and move forward at a pace that feels right for you. You don't need to have everything figured out before you come to therapy. You don't need the perfect words or a clear starting point. We can begin exactly where you are. I work using an integrative approach which means our work together is shaped around you, your needs, and your experiences. There is no single way therapy should look or feel, as every person’s journey is different. By gently drawing on approaches such as CBT, Psychodynamic, and Person-Centred Therapy, we can work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you, focusing on what feels most helpful in the moment. If you are considering therapy and would like to see whether it feels right for you, I offer a free, informal 20-minute online or telephone consultation. This is a relaxed opportunity to ask questions, share a little about what has brought you here, and get a sense of whether we might work well together, with no pressure or obligation.
