About me

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit my page. Beginning therapy is a meaningful step, and finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming I’m here to make that process feel easier, supportive, and reassuring. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I aim to offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can reflect, explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.

Profile Information & General Information About My Service

I am an HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist and a BACP-registered Psychotherapist with extensive experience across the NHS, private practice, specialist services, and higher education. My clinical work spans support for adults, adolescents, and children experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and perinatal mental health concerns.

My therapeutic style is integrative and person-centred, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), humanistic approaches, and psychodynamic principles. I work from a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive perspective, tailoring therapy to your unique needs, goals, and experiences.

Alongside my clinical practice, I am a Senior Lecturer in Counselling Psychology and an External Examiner for additional universities. Teaching, supervising, and contributing to the development of future psychologists enriches my practice and keeps me rooted in the latest research and therapeutic developments.

Whether you are navigating a life transition, processing trauma, seeking clarity, or wanting to deepen your self-understanding, I offer a respectful, supportive space where meaningful change can take place.
