Hello, I’m Jo.
Are you burnt out emotionally and physically?
You may have heard that it’s important to put on your own oxygen mask first but never actually done it!
Your emotions (and you) are energy and energy cannot be destroyed only transformed.
My holistic approach to therapy recognises that there are no “bad” emotions. They’re just signals to us that something needs attention.
My combination of talking therapy, Mindful Movement and Breathwork and understanding your nervous system and how it works will help you connect with yourself ( the most important relationship you will ever have.

- Diploma in Integrative Counselling
- Accredited member of National Counselling Society
- Qualified teacher of Mindful Movement
- Essential Supervision Skills (BPS approved Certificate in Clinical Supervision)
- Mindfulness based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
- Mental Health First Aid
- Soma Breathwork coach
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of 12 step recovery. Co-Dependents Anonymous (CODA)
CPD certificates in working with the inner child, attachment theory, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, suicide and self-harm, anger, sand tray training, various trauma workshops and many others.
Previous experience includes:-
- School Counsellor in secondary schools, working with adults at West Essex Mind, bereavement counsellor at a local hospice.
I’m currently in training as a Soma Breathwork coach which combines movement and Breathwork to heal mind and body.
I currently volunteer offering holistic fitness classes for the local community.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
