Supervision details
I’m passionate about inspiring and helping you on your supervision journey. I am a warm, empathic person but also challenging and supportive. I want to help you become the very best counsellor you can be. I’m a creative supervisor which means that I use creative processes such as using small objects to represent people, issues or relationships, imagery and visualisation, drawing and role play. I have 10 years experience working with adults and children. My supervision model is based on the seven eyed model of Hawkins and Shohet. Eye 1 - Content of the supervision session: Picture the person. Eye 2 - Supervisee interventions and responses: What is the supervisee doing? Eye 3 - The supervisee/client relationship: How are you getting on? Eye 4 - Internal process of the supervisee: How am I being affected by this person? Eye 5 - The supervisor/supervisee relationship: How are we getting on? Eye 6 - Supervisor’s internal process: How am I being affected by this supervisee? Eye 7 - Systems: organisational, cultural, professional, familial, societal, ethical. In which systems are we caught up? My qualification was gained from the British Psychological Society and I have an approved Certificate in Clinical Supervision. Please get in touch to discuss further.
