About me
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. My approach centres on truly listening giving you the time, space, and compassion to express yourself openly without judgement. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, you will be met with understanding and respect.
Together, we’ll look at the patterns, feelings, and experiences that are shaping your life. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and will work collaboratively with you to find what feels most helpful, whether that’s building self‑awareness, developing coping strategies, or making meaningful changes that support your wellbeing.
Alongside my work with adults, I have extensive experience supporting children and young people aged 5 to 19. I provide a gentle, age‑appropriate space where they can make sense of difficult emotions, trauma, grief, or changes in their lives. My work with younger clients often involves creative and expressive techniques, helping them communicate in ways that feel natural and safe. My aim is always to help them feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate their own challenges.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, connected, and able to be your authentic self. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and supported, so you can explore your experiences with confidence and care. When you’re ready to begin, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and compassion.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained as a pluralistic therapist, which means I can draw from a range of counselling approaches rather than relying on just one. We will work together as partners in the process, shaping your sessions around what feels most meaningful and helpful for you. I recognise that everyone’s experiences and needs are different, so your therapy should reflect that individuality. As we work, I’ll explain the ideas and therapeutic models we’re using in a clear, accessible way, helping you understand your options and decide how we blend different approaches to create a flexible, personalised therapy experience.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
