About me
Hi, I’m Jenna.
If you’re here, something probably feels a bit heavy right now; maybe life feels overwhelming, or you’ve lost your sparkle and don’t quite know why.
Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I offer a calm, warm, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, explore what’s happening, and start to feel a little lighter. Whatever brought you here, you’ve already taken a really positive first step by looking for support.
I’m an Integrative Counsellor (MBACP, BSc (hons.)) and Clinical Hypnotherapist. I work alongside you to make sense of what’s happening and find calm, confidence, and a way forward that feels right for you. At the heart of my work is person-centred therapy, and I also blend IEMT (Integral eye movement therapy), Psychodynamic therapy, CBT, Gestalt, transactional analysis, solution-focused techniques, creative therapies, and clinical hypnotherapy in ways that feel comfortable and supportive for you
I’ve supported children, young people, adults, and their families through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addiction, burnout, neurodiversity, and more.
Every story is different, and you’ll always be met with honesty, warmth, and respect, with support tailored to your pace and needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a first-class BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling from Staffordshire University, specialising in trauma and bereavement, a Level 5 qualification in Clinical Hypnotherapy, I am qualified in IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy) and I am currently completing an MSc in Psychology at the University of Liverpool.
Over the years, I’ve worked across counselling, rehabilitation, and education, supporting children, young people, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. This has included roles at Barnardo’s, where I supported children and teenagers through play, art, and creative therapy; Birchwood Residential Treatment Centre, where I worked with people in early recovery from addiction; and Age UK Wirral, supporting adults with grief, loss, and life transitions.
Each experience has helped me develop a flexible, person-centred approach, tailoring my support to each individual’s needs and pace.
I have experience supporting a wide range of challenges, including:
- Mental health and mood: trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout
- Life changes and coping: grief, transitions, motivation, life skills
- Identity and relationships: self-esteem, confidence, gender/identity, LGBTQIA+, relationships, bullying
- Addiction and recovery: early recovery, addiction support (SMART Recovery, fellowship)
- Neurodiversity: ADHD, autism, ARFID, eating disorders, non-verbal or minimally verbal clients
- Other challenges: religious or spiritual transitions
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer a free 30-minute introductory call and assessment so we can explore your needs, discuss goals, and see if we’re the right fit before starting sessions.
Clinical hypnotherapy is available for children aged 8 and over and also requires an assessment prior to starting sessions. I can also offer group sessions.
Together, we can gently untangle what feels heavy and help you rediscover your sparkle. Through counselling or hypnotherapy, we’ll work towards feeling lighter, more confident, and finding more enjoyment in everyday life.
