About me

Hello and welcome to my profile. I am an accredited member of BACP and an experienced psychotherapist and relationship therapist of 6 years, working with individuals, couples, and families

My training and academic degrees are in Business & Psychology, Imago Relationship Therapy and Counselling & Psychotherapy. I have worked within the Royal Free Hospital liaison psychiatric services and now run my private clinic.

Psychotherapy can be a life-changing experience. People start therapy for many different reasons. You may feel dissatisfied or distressed, want to explore the past, process difficult life events, achieve new goals or just learn more about yourself.

To facilitate self-awareness, I place particular attention in developing a trusting, safe and collaborative relationship. In this supportive environment with trust, we will work as a team to develop a shared understanding of your difficulties and identify how these difficulties affect your thoughts, beliefs, behaviours, feelings and daily functioning.

I ensure my approach is unique for each client, as my style of practice is Integrative. This means I draw from different psychological modalities, including psychodynamic, existential, and creatively incorporate the transpersonal use of visualisations and dream work.

Ultimately, my main focus is you, and for this reason I tailor the type of therapy to the individuals’ needs and presenting issues.

Whilst not limited to, below are my specialist areas:

- Trauma and complicated family dynamics

-  Helping clients establish a stronger sense of self, while working on lack of confidence and low self esteem

- Anxiety

-  Addressing communication issues with couples and families

-  Restoring connection and harmony with individuals, couples, and families

-  Societal pressures

-  Family and community pressures within the Jewish community

I offer face to face sessions, as well as offering sessions online via Zoom.

I look forward to working with you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Further information

At our first meeting, which will be your initial online session, is generally referred to as the 'Assessment'.

During the assessment we will be able to jointly decide whether we want to work together. I will ask you a number of questions some of which may seem very personal.

The more honest and open you are the greater the eventual benefit is likely to be for you. There will also be practical questions, such as details about your family, your past and the expected length of therapy.

You will be encouraged to ask questions, so it may be a good idea to think carefully about them, perhaps writing them down so that they may be fully dealt with.

Subsequent sessions will be weekly. Those sessions will generally be on the same day and at the same time each week.

If we decide it is a good fit for us to work together, I will email over my contract where more specific details are written around the framework of us working together.
